Win model 70 re-barreling…22-250 or 220 swift

Thinking I will go with a Douglas barrel. Emailed Stan there and we talked about barrel profiles and the like. Will do the order after the first of the year or might just drop it off my next trip to WV. Again, thanks to everyone’s input.

I just put together a carry around groundhog/coyote rifle in 22-250. I used a 24" Shilen Select SS match with a 1-12 twist. I used the 1-12 because I have another 250 with a 12 twist and have a bunch of 55gr bullets that it likes.

The new rifle shoots fantastic with Sierra 1365 55gr Gamekings. If I were planning on shooting some of the newer sexier heavier bullets I'd gone with a 1-10 twist.
