Win 70 .243 WSSM firing pin mod

Hi, need a little help. I have a Superior shooting Systems new cocking piece, two piece firing pin and updated spring for my Mod 70 in the WSSM action. It is shorter than a normal short action, so it needs the shoulder shortened and back threaded to fit and the spring shortened as well. I've done minor lath work in the past...but Way ...in the past. Don't feel comfortable in doing it, but was quoted $150.00 to turn it and complete the threads. I think the gunsmith jusy may have not wanted to do it...anyway Help !

It is worth it. It may not cost that much to buy it in the first place but when a man sets up, for each operation, measures and remeasures, and cleans up after doing it, puts every thing away. Time is money, he has earned it.
