wilson sized seating dies

Im just trying to make sense. Ive been looking at wilson dies and have a question on how wilson sizes your seater die to your cases.
I saw it listed that wilson wants you to send in a few fired cases and Im lost as to why they would want a fired case and not a resized case? If your chamber is a bit sloppy and you send in fired cases that have expanded and they fit to the case when you resize wont you have a sloppier fit than desired??? Also in the case of a wilson seater for a factory chamber, that die would then be to loose if you used it on a custom min chamber correct? Does wilson only fit the neck based on bullet diam and brass thickness??? Thanks

It is my experience that Wilson custom fits their seating dies so that they will fit a case that has been neck sized only, and that the dies are fit to the body taper of the case, not at the neck or shoulder. If you plan on FL resizing every time, you might give them a call and I am sure that they can fit a die to sized cases. If you have them do this, I would select old work hardened brass to size and send in, since this should be the largest in diameter that you will be using, due to increased spring back.
