wilson seating die question

going to purchase a wilson chamber type seater die for 6mm br do i get regulor or os oversize im not sure could use advise ..thanks Barry

I looked at Wilson's website and there is only one choice for 6mmBR.. The only one I saw with an OS in the part number was for a 6mmPPC.... totally different cartridge.

If you are going to shoot one of the low drag designs, like in the 88 or 105 bergers, order the VLD seating stem.

If it was me, I would ask Creedmoor Sports to be sure. Or call Wilson and see what they say on which die for your needs to use.

Get the regular 6BR die. Why would you need an oversize anyway, if you are full length sizing your brass?

You could always send them a note with a sized case, asking for its return with which ever die they recommend. Back in the day, I had them make a couple of custom dies (neck and seating) for my new tight neck .222 that had been chambered with a custom reamer. I was and am very pleased with the results.
