That is the same problem that Remington had with the 221 and 17 Furball... they are so short that on extraction, the case flipped into the bolt lug slot in the receiver, and then they fell out of the bolt face before they cleared the port.
Rem fixed it by moving the extractor up higher so the case wouldn't go into the lug slots, thereby forcing the case to stay on the bolt until it cleared the port - but that would be a real custom deal with the 308 bolt face.
