Will 6BR Redding S-dies work on 22BR??

Will Redding 6BR Redding S-bushing dies work for forming 22BR brass using a .254 bushing, or do I also need a set of Redding FL 22BR dies in order to form my 22BR brass?? I already have a set of Redding S-bushing 6BR dies, but I am looking to chamber a barrel to 22BR because I have read the kick butt reports on this website about the 22BR. Thanks in advance for all the info... major redfeather.

Hi you can neck the 6BR to 22 with the die but you may have to do it in 2 or 3 steps try the bushing you have but you may require an intermediate step. Once necked down you can just use the 6mmBR die with the correct bushing in place.

You can do it stepping down as previously said, but by the time you buy the bushings you need you can buy a 22BR die. It's a one step process with the 22BR die too.

I run 6BR brass through a Redding 22BR body die and then a type S neck die with a .249 bushing. And that's it...22BR brass.
