I think we miscommunicated. I said that it doesn't take any longer, so there is no downside and a grate deal of upside if you also get a Hydro Seater Press
What does the hydro seater press offer that a standard arbor does not?

I measures actual seating force in PSI and rounds loaded with similar seating force seat more consistently and seem to group a little better, at least in a LR BR rifle.
I could see that being desirable in a LR hunting rifle.
LOL!!! those are the right friends to "help you along"My findings as well using a K&M with force restoration. When I was breaking into lr br my friends I shoot with in Montana was very giving with information helping me along. Tom Mousel the Anderson brothers Alex Wheeler Jack Peterson Donovan Moran and many others helped me along. The two single biggest things that shrank my groups loading wise was taking care of my necks properly and using the K&M sorting in groups of ten the same seating force!... that alone took my groups from 7” and 8” 10 shot groups to 5” and 6” groups!.... I never got to there level of perfection but was happy with my results.

Heres one i inherited from the very early 30br days. Had to be reamed because wilson didnt even make the dies. As you can tell its been many years since i opened that box!View attachment 1169817 Here’s the kit , I swap out the neck die for the case gage, and I prefer the full length bushing & seater die.
