Why is it so hard to get thinks from US !

Why is so hard to get bullet, brass, barrels, scopes and more, exported "international" . :'( ( And trying to get custom bullet, no way. " will not shipp international" is very common.)
Like us in Europe, it is nearly impossible to get a brass and bullet from US. And then I mean bullets and brass for competition like 6ppc and 30BR?? And it is hard to find a FFL dealer to export this thinks over sea. And if you are lucky, you pay 500$ or more for FFL when you order 1000 bullets.
Will benchrest shooting only by in US after few year? :-\
We need to find a good FFL dealer to deal with.

Here in Canada we cant order bullets or brass from the US as it is illegal . The only way to get it is through a Canadian dealer.

A lot of it is ignorance on our part...I've been guilty myself. I have started shipping my wind flags internationally, and wish I had a long time ago. I'm happy to ship them just about anywhere, but there are several items that can not be exported..at least without major hassles. Some of the items make very little or no sense to me.--Mike

What you need is an exporter. Most FFLs are NOT exporters. Just being a FFL does not give you the right to export FFL items. Brass , bullets, barrels and scopes are NOT FFL items. The export of these items is covered by the State Department. Exporters are registered through them.

Prohibited items notwithstanding, the past year's been awful for finding stuff even if you're IN the U.S.

All our propellants and many popular primers are shipped in from elsewhere, U.S.-made bullets have been scarce. Same with brass. Don't even ask about quality 22LR ammunition.
