Why do ARs Eject Ultra-Hot Cartridges?

I have bought a windham weaponry ww-15 extreme varminter. I sighted it in a min and noticed the brass was hot like really hot anybody know why?

a buddy of mine was shooting my STG-58 FAL and I was spotting him about 10 feet away. An ejected shell came across and hit me right above my eye. It was an unusual experience for everything to instantly go red as the sharp end of the neck cut me right above my eyebrow...

Just normal for brass to come flying out of a AR. Hope you never have one slip under your shirt or another person standing on the eject side. It will burn, burn.

Lol, for a hoot, search for "hot brass dance" on the web!

I've had my share. Had a fresh hot case land under my trigger hand forearm in prone with just a t-shirt on. Next one got sent into the dirt about 30 feet in front of me very unexpectedly, lol!

There was a video years ago of a guy shooting a pistol at an indoor range. Hot piece of brass goes down the back of his neck, he instinctively reaches for it with his strong hand (the one holding the pistol), and shot himself in the head.

Buddy shooting a newly assembled 223 at prairie dogs. The first trigger issue that occurred(auto), 3 rounds out(chamber plus 2 that were in the mag) 2 went down my tee shirt. Ouch, ouch. Burn scars lasted several years. Easy to find empty brass with the thermal at night.
