Who is the member who does bolt work?

Sounds like you’re happy with the new spring. So you must have not experienced any bad side effects such as lite primer strikes.
I considered that when I changed springs, but it worked out fine. No fail to fire and the cratering is no longer evident.

That’s great to hear.

Now I’m wondering if I need to send my rifle off or not. I may just try the spring change out and see how it works.

I recently purchased a new rifle and it has an unusually heavy bolt lift and closing.

There is a forum member who does bolt work but I don’t remember his name exactly. I think his name is something like “Dans40x”?

Any help appreciated thanks.

Problem solved, I installed David Tubb’s firing pin and now the bolt lift is light and smooth. Really happy with the result.
