I put together my friend's shotgun that he took apart but couldn't reassemble. Anyway its put together but it has a problem feeding shells. It had this problem before he took it apart.
I ordered a new cartridge stop but that didn't help. The stop goes up and down as you cycle the action but the shells don't get released like they're supposed to. It seems, to me, that the shells have too much play as they come out the tube and this affects how the stop is supposed to work. At least that's what I think and its maybe easier to show than explain.
So I need someone that has one so I can make a comparison. Otherwise the shotgun cycles fine and appears to work like it should except for feeding the shells. I'm so glad I have an 870 that works like it should and very reliable.
