Who has 277 Fury load data.

I have a 26" 10 twist large shank barrel in 277 Fury(6.6×51) on order along with a few hundred virgin hybrid cases and dies.

Does anyone have any reloading experience with this cartridge or any load data?

I plan on shooting 140 to 140gr bullets. Not at 80k psi. I have a feeling n160 or H4350 will be appropriate but I have no evidence to verify it.

Sierra is supposed to get back with me soon with their starting data...i hope.

Thanks.

As you wait to hear back from Sierra, here's some info that you might find of interest to go along with what you hear from them (nothing more than food for thought):
Using case volume of 57.7 instead of QL's default 58.5 H2O

Sounds like a great project. If you don't mind, where are you getting your dies? I hadn't seen any die availability yet, or are you having your dies custom-made?

I'm getting Forster FL size die and lee Dead Length seating die. I already have a micrometer seating stem for the seating die. From Midsouthshooterssupply.com

Lee has a die set but,
I want a "real" hardened size die. Lee isn't really that hardened. But I love their dead length seating dies.

Thanks very much for the info! Keep us posted on how your project turns out. I'm particularly interested in how the reloading works out.

Interesting that QL assigns 65k as the max pressure. The whole point of the bi-metal case one the Fury is so that it can handle up to 80k.
Actually, QL does list the 277 Sig Fury at 80K max. But the OP indicated he wasn't interested in loading to that kind of pressure. Therefore I set QL's max pressure at 65K for the powder list to help give him some kind of reference point.

This is great! I've been loading deer rounds for the 270 Redding for 8-9 years, (..special order $175 Redding dies,, but almost exact match to the sig fury) and irregardless of the 80k pressures engineered into the Fury combo-metal cases, my fire-formed Lapua 260 Rem brass gets me plenty of velocity and life,
