I was shooting next to a guy today that has a 36x weaver I believe, I heard him say the mirage was getting him pretty good and my scope was showing me minor mirage and looked pretty good to me. So I uttered back that it's pretty good over here. He yapped back just cause you can't see it doesn't mean you have better glass because it's there whether you see it or not! I thought about it for a second and figured that he is right, just cause I don't see it doesn't mean it's not there! 200y target is just beyond a pond and give you head aches!
