Hi guys,
Looking at scopes for my 7mm-08 its going to be used for target and silhouette, ranges from 200 - 1000 yards/meters and the occasional deer/varmint hunt, when I can gather the energy to lug it around the bush
, after reading a fair bit I've narrowed it down to the Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 with the RapidZ Varmint Reticle and the Sightron S3 either 6-24x50 or 8-32x56 (Still deciding, not much of a reticle choice with the Sightrons, only reticles I can get are mill dot, fine xhair and fine target dot.) My rifle already has a Picatinny 20moa rail fitted.
I'm leaning more towards the Zeiss at this this stage, will the 6.5-20x50 be adequate for 1000 yard stuff? will that power allow me to see my targets clearly etc, also it says that the Zeiss is a AO (adjustable objective, I take it) is that the same thing as a front parallax adjustment where you turn the front of the scope depending on what range your shooting,or will this adjustment be on the side of the scope?
Just after some opinions, advice and first hand experiences.
Thanks in advance.
