Made a similar one over the weekend for mine, works great, now just have to make one for my mitutoyo one. Not as easy to do as the sinclair one. not much room under the anvil.

I made one with some thick wall plastic tube that has an ID just smaller than the ball OD...so it can be forced over the ball and be retained. Very quick and easy if you can find an appropriate tubing material.
