Which MOA base?

For those shooting 600yds and farther with a 6BR. Which MOA base do you use? 20, 30, 40? In order to get the target centered in the scope without using to much of the scopes adjustment. I'm using a 12-42 NXS. Not a whole lot of adjustment compared to some lower powered scopes.

Leaning towards the Kelby or Jewell rings. Like the Burris gimbaled idea. Just wish that Jewell made them in 30mm in adition to theit 1" gimbaled rings.

As always thank you in advance.

What range do you want to zero? I am using a 6-24X Weaver and a 20MOA base with Burris rings with offset inserts to get a zero at 100 and can click to 1150.

It depends on how far you want to shoot...600 and 1000 or just 600

or go after targets ie dawgs and chucks past 1000...you have an excellent scope to start with..you should have enough internal adjustment to easily go a 1000 with what you have...and if you turn down the power you will gain a lot of moa using a point on your reticle BELOW the center axis.... with my 6br I can easily hit out to 1200 yds and have enough adjustment to go 1500 using a 1000 dot and turning down the power without and type of aftermarket base....

ken farrell 20 moa's are great if you need it

20 MOA it is then. Thank you fellas. Was leaning that way just wanted to make sure I was thinking straight. By the way 600 yards will be it in my area. Mostly 100, 200, 300 yds.
