EGW 20 MOA base Burris rings with 10 moa inserts?

Ok so a friend of mine wants to trade his Nikon monarch 4X16-44 mildot scope for my Millet trs-2, only problem is the nikon has only 40" of adjustment @100 yards. My Millet has 90" @ 100 yards, so I'm gonna be short of adjustment @ 1000 yards. I have a EGW 20 MOA base installed already, which will make up 20 inches. My question is other than the odd factor, would it hurt to use a set og Burris posi-align rings with the .010 inserts to give me 10 more inches @ 100 YARDS? Any and all input is welcome.

It may not give you the exact 10 inches depending on the ring distance, but it sure will work as planned and be pretty close...

I like and use the Burris Sig. Zee's on most of my rifles. As mentioned, the inserts will give you additional elevation. I don't see an action brand mentioned, but another possibility would be to sell the current EGW 20 moa base and purchase another base with more elevation built in. I've seen up to 40 moa bases advertised, going custom could give you anything you wanted.
