Which Mitutoyo anvils?

Being new to machining, I’m know the barrel tenon for a bat ds is 1-1/16 / 18. Which set of Mitutoyo anvils for their threading micrometers are the proper ones for this? Their descriptions are less than informative.

As in for mic'ing your threads? Get your self a set of thread wires. I learned to use them over 30 years ago when I was serving my apprenticeship.
The "kids" on the floor are baffled by them.

Get yourself TWO sets of thread wires! As cheap as they are, it's nice to have a spare in case the chip pan swallows one!

Wrap masking tape around the end of the thread wire. Easier to find in a chip pan.

I dont ever thread a barrel to the proper P.D. I thread them until the action just barely goes on.

Slightly loose is much better than slightly tight.

I would estimate between 001-.003” clearance.

If your thread form is correct and pitch is consistent it is more than enough.
