Which caliber for next build?

The 220 Beggs Russian is a decent choice. It alleviates the need to fireform and do the wildcat dance with brass. 12TW or even faster twists for the heavy bullets is fine. Or you can do the 6mm Beggs and keep it simple.


Joe, you are correct. I do have one and think it is a great cartridge.
 
Circling back to the original post... the guy wanted something with light recoil, preferably .22 caliber, and it was for P-dog hunting, not Deer-sized game.

Accordingly I repeat my suggestion of a 22 BR, or 22 BRA:
