Which burris rings?

Admittedly, the burris ring line is rather confusing to me. I am building a 6br and it has a 0moa picatiny rail, I'd like to add 15-20 moa using burris rings. Scope will most likely be a weaver T36 (1" tube). To further complicate things, I'd like the rings in silver finish.

Which height and model should I look for? Signature? Zee rings? Xtr? Zee signature? Xtr Signature?

I'm not sure of the color choices, but the Zee Signatures work on a picatiny. The Zee Signatures will come with various eccentric inserts allowing you to center the reticle at your zero. The XTR Signatures are a 6-screw tactical ring. Way more rugged than we need for target shooting, but overkill is fine. And the Signature plastic inserts greatly minimize scope marks.
Height depends on your application, depending on if you need a cheek weld, or if you're looking for minimal cheek/stock contact.
On the Burris sight, you can download a .pdf catalog that lists choices and heights pretty well.

I will on occasion be shooting this rifle at 1K, mostly mid range but want to be able to when I want, which is why I want to add cant into the scope mounting. I already have the rail, and I need rings anyway, so rather than sell the rail and get something else, I'd rather just get rings that can add cant.

Looks like you can find medium and high in the Nickel finish . You should be able to get all the cant you want with proper inserts.

I have the Burris Signature "Z" Rings with inserts on many of my scopes. Allows me to switch one 6BR rifle I have from 100 to 1,000 yards with just a change in the inserts (I use a 20 MOA base or rail) and eliminates ring marks on your scopes. I have yet to have them cause a problem with movement during recoil or compression and changing point of aim / impact. They are available with different screw configurations and are not over priced. I wish they made them in Davidson / Borden style dove tails.

I think your plan is good. You'll likely have to order extra inserts to get the elevation options you want.

I don't know about Nickle but I use the XTR Signature rings and really like them. Never have seen them in Nickle only matte or blued. They don't leave ring marks and you can get a pretty good cant too.

Nickle or silver finish is not a high priority, I may end up with a black scope.

But, do the Weaver base rings from Burris fit picatinny rails ok? I always assumed weaver bases used a narrower slot than a picatinny, but just want to make sure.

Don't know about weaver base rings but on Burris website they say the XTR signature rings will fit weaver and picatinny rails. I use EGW rails and the Burris XTR Signature rings fit very well together.

piggybacking on this thread. 30mm tube, 50MM bell, with pict rail.
I think I need a 'high' model of the signature zee rings. Does anyone have any specific info regarding this install? I have looked online and I am 90% sure this will work. medium is most likely not tall enough. Signature zee rings.

Call Burris and give them your objective, tube size, and base. Ask if Medium will fit. I believe a Medium set or possibly a Low will fit. I have a 20 moa base, 30mm tube, 56 mm obj and I’m running either lows or medium on it. NF 12-42x56 Benchrest Scopes. I can get a pair of lens covers on front also. MTU Barrel and Bull. These are Burris XTR, not Burris Signature Zee Rings but should be the same height. 20 moa base on one rifle, 0 moa base on the other two.
