Which Borden action for 6 dasher f-class build

Just throwing it out there you might want to consider a dual port or drop port as I feel it gives you more versatility if you want to change disciplines.

I started in F-Class too, BRMXD right bolt left port but decided to move to BR and sold it and ended up buying a RBLPRE.

I like the BRM RB-Drop Port, also the BRM RB/LP and RB/RP. Just pick your flavor where you want the port, all 3 work fine for me .These actions are so smooth you can do without the nitride if you find one you want in stock or used but if I was ordering new I would probably get the nitride just because.

What’s a “funnel” in this meaning? Full disclosure, I don’t know much about anything,
Some people like to use a funnel that is inletted and bedded into the stock. It is aluminum, typically, and provides a friction free drop area that funnels into a 1/2" hole.

Since funnels became more scarce, most people just cut a 1/2" hole the length of the cartridge being dropped into the bottom of the stock. Sor for a BR/Dasher it's ~1.650 x .500 This provides full free fall of the case and thus, unimpeded.

Thanks. Makes sense. Mine just has the “hole”. Didn’t even know about the funnel. One of a bajillion (technical term) things I don’t know.

The one I have in my BAT stock is either plastic or some other type material, the stock isn't finished so I'll try and upload a picture of it for reference.
