Which barrel tuner works best for BR shooting at least .10 to .19 groups at 100 yards

For my 30BR rifle I am trying to decide which barrel tuner to buy that provides the most precision - at least 0.1 to 0.19 groups at 100 yards to be competitive. The club range I shoot BR matches at has shooting tables fairly close to each other, so out of courtesy I'm trying to stay way from tuners with muzzle breaks even though I know they provide an advantage of keeping crosshairs closer on target after discharge. After rounds have been fully developed for BR competition, which barrel tuner is most likely to provide at least 0.10 to 0.19 precision at 100 yards; which brand/type of barrel tuner should I get for this purpose. All comments are welcome.

None of them!

Let me explain what Butch is saying. If you have worked your load up and you are shooting.1 to .19 groups without a tuner, adding a tuner can make it easier to keep the load in tune.

On the other hand, the tuner is not going to make your .2 to .3 loads or barrel shoot .1 to .19.

I don’t have a tuner in my 30br yet. I plan on having one added bit the truth is, tweaking the powder charge gets me to the same place and it’s easier to figure out and tune than a 6ppc. Also, my 30br does not seem as schizophrenic as my ppcs. Others may feel differently.

My 30BR is presently being prepared/assembled brand new by my gunsmith. While he's working on it, I thought it would be a good idea to have him add a tuner to the barrel should I need it. That's why I'm asking those accomplished 100 yd BR shooters which tuner they think is best for this purpose.

If you will take some time to wade through this thread you may find what you want. Having the tuner added during the build will help you keep the weight within spec, but you will want to remove it while working on loads. As you will find out if you read the thread, all tuners do the same thing. Some are easier to use, others may create a wider tune window. None will make you barrel shoot better, they just make it easier to stay in tune.

They all work, but you need to understand how and why they work. Then learn how to use them. I've been using them on LR and SR for several years and still learning, lol.
Tuners don't improve a perfect tune. They can however improve the way a gun shoots if it's not perfectly tuned.
IOW, a tuner can only help if you're not really tuned to its potential. They do slightly broaden tune windows and they give the ability to tune without changing the load. But they won't fix a bad bbl or a bad load combination...They can only make that load combination shoot to its potential. So if the load is leaving something on the table, a tuner can improve it but it can't fix it. By this I mean, a poor powder or bullet choice, for example. No different than normal load work up in this regard. I wouldn't expect h1000 and a hunting bullet in a ppc to give best results and I doubt you would either.
I'm happy to discuss tuners with you in detail but I'll be out until Monday.
You can pm me if you would like to discuss them in detail. I can pm my cell number and I'd be happy to talk tuners with you.---Mike

Ezell @gunsandgunsmithing .
Is a well known tuner. I like mine.
I think there are so many veritables to shooting that's hard to say a tuner did anything other than make you groups get closer rather than them being far away from each other in a string.

Then you've got conditions and the nut on the butt to deal with and powder and jump and jam and primer and headspace and e neck tension .....
oh my God the list goes on and on
