Which barrel do you recommend

Smith is more important than the barrel IMO. Way too many good options to go wrong.

Not sure I get all the pre-64 70 "extractor cut" comments...what machinist/gunsmith can dial up a blank, properly turn and thread the extension, cut the crown, ream a chamber to zero headspace and then lose it when he gets to the part about cutting a measly little extractor cut?????

Dave Bruno is a top notch Smith. You are half way there, I like Krieger first and foremost, but you will not go wrong with the others. One of my Krieger 6mm Competition Match barrels is coming off next week and a .243 X Caliber is going on, I feel confident that it will shoot small.
