jde, I have read that entire thread on this cartridge. Once again I see no documentation what so ever, just a bunch of guys claiming that they are getting this result. A couple of them even admit they just received there rifles, so they couldn't possible be getting 3300 ( that is the figure they use) round count. One did claim it was the powder H1000 burns so much cooler that it is allowing them to get in excess of 3300 rounds and yet maintain a velocity figure of 3,100FPS with a 140 grn bullet.. Makes a feller wonder why any of us are using the faster burning powders if we can get these results with this cooler powder.
I have to call BS on this, until I see some form of documented proof.
