Where to find Berger 105 VLD's

Does anyone know where I can get some Berger 105 VLD Bullets? They seemed to be wiped off the face of the planet. Just received my 6br and I'm ready to go to work. Without this bullet I feel like my load development is severely incomplete.

I couldn't find them either, so I gave Berger a call and asked about the 105gr VLD Hunting bullets. They said many of the "factory" guys use this as their favorite, so I went ahead and bought 300 of them to try.

I did a "mini" load work up testing charge weights and seating depths a little on each side of my best "regular" 105gr VLD recipe, just to be sure.

Perhaps I was just having a good day, but the results with the Hunting version were slightly better, so I just loaded a batch for an upcoming F-Class match.

The only difference I noticed was that the meplat looked more uniform with the Hunting version, presumably because the thinner copper jacket is easier to form.

Yes it has a more uniform tip and better bc due to that
Most guys see no different from hunting vld to target vld whatever you can find buy them they are out all over

If you can't find any VLD's I suggest you try their 105 Hybrids as an alternative.

In both my 6HAGAR (spacegun @ 600 yds) and several 6XC barrels (bolt-action, single-load, 600 & 1,000 yd) they work just as well with exactly the same load profiles.

Due to the all of a sudden shortage I bought 1000 hybrids. I hope they shoot as well as the vld's. I spent a lot of time getting them tuned in but after that they were lights out. Let the load development begin.

All I have left now is 351...all same lot number. Sinclair sells them for $0.36 each, $126.36. call it 125 plus actual freight to your door.
