The GemPro 300 is just as good as the 250 , same resolution , the scale is alittle larger . More accurate the the reloading scales . I load my rounds 40.84 grains that's accurate . I use two scales at the sane time , the ChargeMaster 1500 to throw 40.8 range check the load in the GemPro to 40.84 .

Yeah in the scale world the jump from gem pro to the next best is several hundred ...
FOR A REASON ! Imo.

I went Sartorius ....
Yeah stupid money compared to GP.
but damn it's nice !
Resale should be good if I choose to. So out several hundred is the same either way.
...I gotta go weigh some primers now...see ya !

How do you think the manufacturer's of loaded MATCH grade ammo weigh powder charges , I would think reloaders are more precise no matter what scale they use .

They don't weigh it, they throw it..... literally.

It’s a crapshoot with gempro line. I got two to go back and was told they don’t have confidence with the line thats on the shelves to exchange so they are refunding your money if you have your receipt or $150 without receipt.
Mine were excellent but went south over time. They were good for the money but save up for the fx-120i.

I think one of the members here posted positively about the Tree's awhile back. My little $20 scale from Amazon is still working well for any bullet sorting I decide to do. I still use my modded beam 99% of the time for charging cases just because I trust gravity more than I do Chinese electronics. Repeatability on that $20 special is scary at plus or minus .002 grams. I can weigh a bullet 50 times come back an hour later and weigh it another 50 and all the readings will be within .004 grams of each other (.06 grains). Only reason I would upgrade that electronic is if I went to something with .0001 gram resolution using magnetic force reduction.

Found out a new trick for those having issues with drift on their Gempro 250. It was suggested to me from a member on another board to do a linear calibration instead of a scale calibration. Said he was having the same issues and that fixed his. So to do so you have to have a 20g & 50g weight. I borrowed a 50g from another old Hornady scale and went to work. Low and behold! It worked. Has maintained a zero for 14 hrs now. Loading up some 338RUM tonight to test for sure if it is still working properly.
