Where is the revolver section

My handle here also reflects my first and favorite Smith & Wesson revolver.
They are a joy to shoot.

I’m in the wheel gun camp also with my S&W 28-2 being my favorite and the 986 coming in a close second.

1911's, S&W 19 & M&P semiautos, Ruger Super Blackhawk, Ruger MKII

lost them all in a tragic boating accident.. A long with my rifles....;)
You must have been with Dusty and Brett when the boat went down in Alaska. Yea, I do the handgun thing also, and you will get your questions answered.

I've got my Pops pre war S&W .357 LEO, CID carry.
As a kid that "hog leg" was huge to me ! Now it just sits there. I think it's worth 1k to a collector. But It has some LEO stories of the 40's,50's & 60's ....Wild times in Mississippi.

I was in LGS yesterday and they took in on trade a commemorative S and W mod 66 6 in. It was a 100 yrs of Dallas PD 1881 to 1981 in presentation case with sealed silver belt buckle and all. very nice. Wish i would of had some extra money.

So you were in getting a 338? lol. That's where the spare cash went... Send me David's cell number some time...

Putting some new life in this wheel gun thread. I am getting the itch again. What is your favorite DA revolver? I don't have a model 19 but I am thinking hard about getting one. I will probably get a 357 and shoot 38 loads. I am also looking at the new Pythons, I hear they are very high quality. Some guys say real good things about new SW revolvers w barrel liner. Supposedly the new Pythons are a beefier than the original ones.

S&W all day for a wheel gun, although I just got a Ruger GP100. I haven’t shot it yet but it feels nice in the hand. A Model 19 was the first pistol I bought, about 45 years ago. I’ve put many thousands of rounds thru it and it’s still tight. Good guns. I’ve been half heartedly looking for a 686 over the past couple years. It’s a bucket list gun for me.

I only use a revolver for hunting. Super RedHawk 44 mag, single action trigger job, crowned and forcing cone reworked. Wears a Bushnell Trophy 2-6X32. If I was a great pistol shot that’s all I’d ever use to hunt whitetail in my neck of the woods.
