I was in LGS yesterday and they took in on trade a commemorative S and W mod 66 6 in. It was a 100 yrs of Dallas PD 1881 to 1981 in presentation case with sealed silver belt buckle and all. very nice. Wish i would of had some extra money.
Sure will do in the morningSo you were in getting a 338? lol. That's where the spare cash went... Send me David's cell number some time...
S&W all day for a wheel gun, although I just got a Ruger GP100. I haven’t shot it yet but it feels nice in the hand. A Model 19 was the first pistol I bought, about 45 years ago. I’ve put many thousands of rounds thru it and it’s still tight. Good guns. I’ve been half heartedly looking for a 686 over the past couple years. It’s a bucket list gun for me.Putting some new life in this wheel gun thread. I am getting the itch again. What is your favorite DA revolver? I don't have a model 19 but I am thinking hard about getting one. I will probably get a 357 and shoot 38 loads. I am also looking at the new Pythons, I hear they are very high quality. Some guys say real good things about new SW revolvers w barrel liner. Supposedly the new Pythons are a beefier than the original ones.
