where is a good place to order STEEL targets?

I work at a place that makes bulldozer blades & excavator buckets. When they cut some of the metal they end up with round "slugs" that are usually scrapped. These range from 2-8" round AR400 steel 1-3" thick.
I'm allowed 100lb of scrap a month.
So i've been fashioning some of these with a bolt welded to the back, large flat washer and nut through some old conveyer belt scrap into targets.

They don't "ring" like thinner steel targets. But you know you hit it with the 7mm Rem Mag by the "THWAP" sound! :D

Curious, would your or a local blacksmith/welding shop not be able to cut you steel targets ? They can order in various types of steel and that would save you shipping/freight costs.

I'm sure they could, if they are willing to order a 4'x8' sheet of AR 500 plate. As far as that goes I have a torch and a plasma cutter I guess I could have cut my own. But what would I do with the rest of the plate? I'm going to go out on a limb and say you can't beat Field and Caves price or quality.
