What he said ^^^^^^^^ And Thomas (Speedy) Gonzales just won small group at the Tack Driver, (Used 6PPC over the course of fire) 300 yards and if you know what the Tack driver is that was a feat. Shooting his own handmade bullets.I think the light 6’s hold the records at 100 & 200 yds.

Of course the 223 will work on varments.I don’t compete and in the field on varmints at short ranges like this the 223 has no problems.
I agree, as long as your game is range fire at known ranges attempting the smallest group against other shooters.Of course the 223 will work on varments.
I have been shooting a local bench league for 5 years now. We compete at 100/200/300yds which I believe is short range.
The first 3 years I competed with a 223 and consistently finished 12th to 14th of 22+/- members. two years ago I moved to a 6mm. First year with it I moved up 4 positions. This year I am now in the top 4. It does make a difference.
Whats the bbl twist on that one?I have a 6BR Norma and have never been able to get any bullet under 105 gn to group small so I have just been shooting 105s and 107s
1 in 8"Whats the bbl twist on that one?
Speedy shot the smallest Agg in the history of the Tack Driver, but smallest group went to Randy Holland and it was the smallest group ever shot at the Tack Driver. Shot with my 68gr avengers. What he said ^^^^^^^^ And Thomas (Speedy) Gonzales just won small group at the Tack Driver, (Used 6PPC over the course of fire) 300 yards and if you know what the Tack driver is that was a feat. Avengers finally beat out Dominators last Friday consistently.
The Avengers are GREAT.
Bart,Haven’t put it on the website yet but we are coming out with a new short range bullet. 65 grain Viper.
It’s a boattailBart,
Will that be a flat base or a boat tail bullet?
They are pretty much identical. Jeff Pineheardt copied my original 65SMT.Bart. How much difference over your 65 gr SBTs ? Ogive shape? The 13 twist I have loves those.
