What’s your favorite reloading piece

Lol, I was just trying to have some fun with the dust collecting concentricity gage h8ting crowd :p
No hate intended,times and requirements have changed. When I first started reloading (a 22-250) 50+ years ago I rolled a freshly loaded round on the bench. If the bullet tip didn't appear to wiggle I called it good enough.

21st century hand priming tool.

I have the nice machines and the scale and the press.
But I just pick this up and feel the heft, feel the finish, admire the polish, sit down, smile and go to work.
There aren't too many damn fine hand tools left in my world.

I guess there’s no way I could pinpoint just one piece of equipment as I have so many wonderful pieces from many different venders so I’m gonna say what the worse piece of equipment I ever bought was……. a scale!… once I got a scale and moved away from my Lee classic loader dies the fun went away and the quest for 1 hole took over my entire world!…and 40 years later hasn’t let go!…I miss my mallet a box of bullets a small bowl of powder and a paper plate for my target.

I also use RCBS Chargemaster lite but my favorite tool is the Forester Bonanza press I've had for 30 plus years.

What in your guys reloading bench would you say is your favorite piece of reloading gear? Outside of your press what’s one piece of gear that you would buy first if doing it again?
For me I really like my powder dispenser. Nothing fancy just a charge master light but really enjoy not having to throw main charge and then trickle in the rest
Giraud Trimmer!

Rather than a single specific tool, having high quality measurement equipment consisting of calipers, mics, dial indicators, being able to accurately and precisely quantify my ammo has been the single best improvement to date. Also knowing how to properly take a measurement is very important.
Absolutely !! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Totally agree with the scale, I also have the charge master lite, and before that I was using a beam scale. That being said, I love my 21st century hand primer and K&M arbor press.
Same here, also include a “Quality” {Mitutoyo} vernier, shoulder bump & ojive bits for it.
Wilson seating dies, the list goes on…
Having a set of quality equipment will make life easier and produce more accurate ammo.
Just could not narrow it down to one item on my bench… That being said, I would hate to to give up my Auto Trickler…

My $0.02 worth:

* Forster Co-Ax press
* Forster full length bushing dies
* RCBS Matchmaster powder dispenser
* K&M Arbor Press
* LE Wilson seater dies
* Tipton vise

I’m going to have to say the RCBS Chargemaster Lite. I used to use a measure and trickle up, now my measures just collect dust unless I’m loading plinking ammo for my 1911. The next best would be my Lee priming tools, I’m sure going to be sad if I ever have to do without either of them.

My Vickerman seaters are just SUPER especially when loading 17 caliber bullets. Easy to change the OAL, they are just a well designed, engineered and machined item. Simple is better. "Run-out" is minimal, very consistent. Not as well known as some, BUT, the RCBS, Lee and Readings are in drawer. Check 'em out.

My Chargemaster Link. Saves me so much time when loading at the match. I did the throw/trickle thing last year waiting on a new dispenser that still hasn't arrived. Wouldn't get out of the electric chair to go back to it either.

Bought a Rockchucker kit in 1980, first upgrade was to a scale that settled quicker, one in the kit drove me nuts waiting for it. that was maybe 1989 or so. Hornady M scale.
Next was a Chargemaster in about 2011 or 12. No beefs, still have it, working just fine.
Then a Co-Ax in 2012, had always wanted one from day one, not perfect, but, a very good buy. Glad I waited, as in 1980 the Bonanza was still the short yoke on it.
Then I got a case prep ctr in 2013---that was the best investment I've made yet to this day.
I started buying 3way trimmer heads for a couple of trimmers I have, they were not quite as good a buy as the prep ctr, as I still have to use the prep ctr to do pockets, but, still a good buy.
Last big buy was a V4 and the A&D scale, nice, but, only really for satisfying OCD as I can accomplish the same thing cheaper. It's a luxury, like it a lot.
Somewhere around 1989, I bought a Lyman 20lb electric lead pot, that was a very good buy, still running strong, and I've had a pile of use out of it.
