What's your favorite powder for 9mm ???

Alliant Bullseye, but you gotta watch for the double charge!! I use it for 9, 40sw, and 45acp.

Alliant Power Pistol. Fits the requirement that it nearly fills up the case so its not likely you would double charge a load. Comes highly recommended by Hornady in every bullet weight they tested for 9mm.

Started using Power Pistol and finally got the speed I was looking for, lower cost, and also a whole heck of a lot cleaner than my previous powders. Buy it by the "Jug" now and love it.

Chrono speeds are nice and uniform, probably because of the greater case fill and not having powder falling away from the primer as it can do with the "Mini Charges" of some powders.

Anyone loading on a Dillon 650 having a problem with the powder bouncing out as the cases rotate from one position to another?

I was aware of this problem before my 650 arrived. Soon as I had it set up, I "fixed" the problem. You can call Dillon and they'll tell you what/how to fix this - you cut small amount off the spring under the index ball in the tool head under the shell plate.

Don't take too much off - you want to do this until you can advance the shell plate without spilling powder. Took me 3 tries to get mine fine tuned. If you look at your manual, you're trimming spring #17. Again, cut off small amount, I started with ~1/8 turn or less of a coil. If you cut too much, you'll loose the indexing and rounds won't reliably stop where they're supposed to.

There has been one other fix I've seen - see eBay - involves replacing the steel ball #16 with a nylon ball for a 'softer' index - but this still lets powder spill since I've seen where the guy selling this nylon ball also tells you to then trim the spring......Dillon says to trim the spring.

with a small case like 9mm its not hart to get powder "popping" out as the case stops.
taller case or short fat like 45acp not so much

Use to use Unique and HS-6 in the past, but now really like Alliant Power Pistol.

231 for me along with a host of others.I like clean burning powders and clays is another I like.

Power Pistol by far has given me my best results, followed by VV N340.

I did until I properly adjusted the shell plate center bolt. It's a very narrow range of adjustment that allows the plate to move freely and be centered at each position by the detent ball yet not "snap" into position.

Two other options are a bearing kit that is discussed on the Brian Enos Forum and others, and merely do like I now do.

When I pull the handle down with my right hand I pick up a bullet with my left. Then using my "Freeway Salute" finger I cover the case just leaving the powder check station and let it follow the case as the handle is raised, the case is moved and the detent ball snaps into position. I set the bullet on the case mouth and repeat. You might say that I just gave this problem "the finger" 8)

Another fan of 3N37 here. Just be careful as it can generate high pressures pretty quick with greater seating depths. VV is very clear in their recommendations for OAL.

I use Titgroup and so as you know 3.3 grains is not a hell of a lot even in a 9 mm case and so my question was would there be problems with the Dillon. I am guess no, but since you guys are talking about it, thought I would ask.
