What's your favorite 22-250 powder?

IMR 4350 and 4451. Berger 80g VLD. Or Sierra blitz King 55g with VARGET

H380 for 60 gr. bullets and lighter. H414 for the heavier bullets. I've been working with H100V with the 75 and 80 gr. AMax bullets and it shows some promise. I have an Ackley chambered 26" barrel, 1:9 twist - H100V might yield a significant velocity advantage over H414. We'll see . . . .

Nosler 50 grain BT, WW brass, Fed primer and 41 grains H380. My velocity is over 3900 FPS and it has a lot of lift in it. Been hammering PD with it for a long time in a couple of Wby Super Varmint Master rifles.

Loaded up some Varget this morning. A couple different charges. It's a new barrel, so i loaded up 50 v-maxs to break in the barrel. Also, i loaded up some 50 Barnes tsx. After whitetail season, I'll work up a Varget load for some 55grn v-max.

Varget works with 34 grain HP dogtowns and 69 Grain match bullets in my 12 twist.

Has anyone tried H4350?

This powder is better for your heavier 22-250 bullets over 60 grains. I shoot 69 grain Sierra Tipped Match kings out of my 22-250 for Woodchucks and other pests and the H4350 and IMR 4451 work well for this weight class.

Try varget 4895 and 4350 one should work and they are all stable one should work if you can't get them to work try H414 but not as stable as the others

C/T bullets do not develop the pressure of naked bullets, don't even try this load with any other bullet than this.

MY GO TO LOAD IS 38.5GRS H-380 52GR SIERRA MATCH HP AND A 210 PRIMER IF THIS DONT SHOOT IN A 22-250 THEY STAMPED THE BARREL WRONG !
