What's the most dependable AR-15 style .410 shotgun

I'm looking for the above rifle. Havent really looked into it much, but just thought it would be a nice piece to have in your house for protection.
I'm going to check out youtube, but just thought I would reach out to those on this site to see what you thought.

I would say a saiga but its more of an AK than AR. I wouldnt think a 410 would be a good choice for self defense, but they should be cheap since you cant get ammo

So in your house inviroment, why would you not think that a 410 would be a good choice?

Well if it's a milspec receiver and limited to 2.5" shells, that would be a limiting factor. A Hatsan bullpup would seem a better home defense 410. Still not a 18" M870, the most dependable home shotgun.

I've seen people shoot the Hatsan 12 gage on youtube and it looks very punishing. Think this is one I will stay away from.

Better learn to reload the .410. Ammo has always been priced above it's worth, around here at least. I have always wondered why they don't make a copy of the trench guns of WWI & WWII. The Huns respected them greatly.
I think that's how Elmer Keith got his winning personality, testing those Trench gun loads.

I shoot the 410 in skeet, so loading for it is not an issue. But yes, to purchase it is expensive, and for sure not worth it.
