Whats the most accurate 20cal cartridge?

While reading this thread I was surprised that the .20 Practical wasn't mentioned until GrocMax did. It's a nice round. Just neck a .223 down to .20 and you're done. No fuss, no muss. I had an AR upper done in this round.

I am quite sure all these little 20cal chamberings are capable of a .250" groups once in a while but i need a 20cal chambering that can agg a .200 group most all the time. After all my readings and talking with other shooters i am thinking the clear winners would be a 20-222 or the 20ppc maybe even a 20ppc .100 short. The 20VT would also be up in this list but i cant but wonder how it would do at 200 yards in an agg? Thanks for sharing fellas. I keep thinking i need a 20cal ut as of yet i havent pulled the trigger on this project. Maybe i will or maybe i wont. Just dont know if i would gain anything over the 6ppc or the 22 waldog i already have? Lee

what do you use for dies for the duster? sounds interesting. Lee

gretran did the dies for me. kevin weaver also has a 20 bobcat which is just a tiny change in the neck length, to two are very similar.

Unless you plan to form 20vt cases from 222 or 223 cases you can abandon any hope of anything consistent using rem 221 brass, stuff is abysmal if you have expectations from using lapua brass.

For the bobcat you can also use 223AI Type S dies that have been cut down. ADam

20VT in a model 36 Cooper is my most accurate .20 8) Yes, even with the Remington .221 brass. I have not had any problems with the brass. I'm using the 32 Vmax and H335. A real killer in the PD wars!
