As I was looking for a member on the member list I was aware of the fact that very few people are site contributors . Just take a moment and go any where you want on the list of members . Just click on "MEMBERS" which is at the top of this page and go through the list of people who use the resources of this site and basically for nothing .I have nothing to do with this site other than be a member and pick up information , pass-on the very little that I do know , and spend way too much money buying/selling things that interest me . The purpose of this post is to make/help all of us to realize what we already know ---- nothing good in life is free . We , as members, owe it to the site and administrators to send them a contribution for the upkeep of this site . Just the price of a magazine ($5) would help if we all would contribute . This message is not for a few, but rather for the vast majority. I'll get off my "soap box " now . Sorry if this bothered you but we are responsible for keeping this site up , not a few .

I also want to thank the original poster. With four guys on site this year, covering SHOT show has already drawn on our contributions significantly.
I don't want people to think I'm preaching but I'm going to move this to the top every day in the hope that more people contribute to the site . I'll do it for two weeks and then stop----just bear with me . The only reason why is that it's one way I can help out and keep a darn good site strong, and up and running . Again , I have no tie to this site other than being a member .
GTL thanks for getting this in front of everybody again. I just sent in my payment for this year. I'm a newbie and find this site really helpful with just trying to understand everything that is involved with this sport. At some point I hope to be able to contribute to the knowledge base instead of just sucking up all the info offered by the various members.

Good thread guys! A couple weeks ago I clicked the 'donate' button and it seems paypal preferred,,so I elected not to donate. (I have a real problem with paypal,tho I have had an account with them for years.)So, this morning,after reading this thread, I used paypal and donated.
I would have rather sent a check,but couldn't find a detailed address. Maybe there are many more like me. just sayin'.

I have to agree with the first post and i am a guilty one. I need to buck up and start sending something in a few times a year. Their will be a check in the mail this week. I have met a lot of great people here and made some really goods friends on the way to. Super forum and super people is what makes this a great place to be. Thanks for the posting it and has been long over due for me to pony up and give back.
