I want to chime in with a BIG THANK-YOU to the guys who have donated this year. We've had quite a few donations in the last 4 days and that's very encouraging. User donations are very important for 2012, as our operating expenses are up, and the big sponsors are watching their budgets very carefully.
For the folks who've sold successfully via our classifieds, but who haven't donated yet, we suggest kicking in $12.00. That's a dollar a month for all sorts of free content, and good advice from our many knowledgeable members.
Putting things in perspective, for $12.00 these days you can buy a movie ticket and a box of popcorn. 90 minutes later all you've got is greasy fingers.
Or for $12.00 you help the site provide valuable reloading info, interviews with experts, sales leads, discount offers, and cool stories 365 days a year. I think that's a better value than one movie ticket and a box of popcorn.

thanks boss for your recent comments, 12 dollars per year-----=-=-= let's put this in daily cost which is .03 cents per day est. This certainly is not about the money, so let's blame it on the time. I hope our members can find the time to make sense & donate a small token for all the great stuff on this site---------- take care Craig

I appreciate that comment. One of the reasons we've been able to maintain high editorial standards (and high technical efficiency) is that we have very talented people who provide services to the site -- either donating their time or working for a small fraction of their "going rate" based on their expertise and skill level. That's because they are proud of the site and have a strong personal commitment to serving the community of precision shooters.
I appreciate that comment. I thought it would quickly die out or get somebody out here griping about us asking for donations, but just the opposite, it has been very positive, I have gotten countless emails and p,m's over it and not one negative one on the subject. Thank you Paul for providing this great site for all of us and we know your real busy but you have managed to keep all the new donators updated in a reasonable amount of time,....it just don't get much better then this
