What would a new action have to do to stand out?

My dream action? I want a 1 mile rifle for Christmas this year if my neck/spine surgery goes well.
A Terminus Zeus LA in 30 Nosler for me. It has all the options I want. There is no need for a trigger hanger, two threaded pins screw in the action to hold the trigger in place. Integral Picatinny Rail. Tolerances are so close pre fit barrels obviate the need to have a gunsmith FCH the barrel. Std, Magnum, .338 Lapua bolt faces available. QC option to have several barrels in different bolt head sizes.
What's not to like?

Best of luck with the surgery, take your time recovering and don't rush it. Thank you for your input on the thread.

With the number of high quality actions available now and the number of various personalities behind them, there seems to be something out there for everybody to support (or avoid) already. What would a new action, or manufacturer, have to do to stand out in the crowd? Conversely, what would be an immediate dealbreaker?
With the level of quality we are getting out of the top actions like, Bat, Borden, Kelbly, Kauger, Defiance, ext., and having done my fair share of work with some of them I cant see any major improvement that is going to set one far enough ahead that you need to build a new rifle to stay in the hunt. The difference are small, and personal preference comes more into play. You may see some advertising but its really as simple as well fitted parts, lug contact, and consistent ignition.
