What would a 221 sc be?

A friend of mine came across a rifle that was labeled 221 sc. What would it be? I was thinking 221 fireball.

Could be almost anything the smith or owner wanted . 221 Short chambered
221 super , 221 spec chamber .
A chamber cast is suggested for final word .

My guess is it would be a 221FB AI sort of cartridge like the 20SCC is a 20-221FB AI sort of cartridge. I think a forum member named phil was interested in the 221FB AI, but don't know if he pursued it or not.

cerrosafe safe is cheap I once used candle wax to get a good enough idea on what one was. Oil up the chamber plug the bore knock it out with a rod.

Hard to tell what it could be without a chamber cast....
