That's actually not true, RL26 is a little slower than RL25 but because it produces faster velocities with the same amount people often think it has a faster burn rate.

I get 3000 fps with 143gr bullets with it in 6.5 creedmoor, over 3100 fps in 6.5x284. It was fast in my 270 also. I use it alot.

I use it in my 6 creedmoor, I get about another 100 FPS or more over H4350 or RL16 with 115 vld’s 3158fps I really like it!…. I was told in colder temperatures I would get hang fires but I’ve shot it down to 12 degrees in that cartridge even with small primers with zero issues.

It pretty versatile: 22 Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, 26-06 , 300 wm, 300 Norma, just about any of the short fat cartridges.

Definitely a bit slower than R25 and I can’t say I have ever seen more than a mild speed change from temperatures
