What to do with leftover tulammo cases?

I reload these days, but I used to shoot steel ammo sometimes and have accumulated about 500 cases of 9mm tulammo. Is there anything can be done with this, and can it even be recycled?

Unlike brass or copper, I'm not equipped to melt down steel. Even if I could, apparently it's "polymer coated" anyway -- which makes me doubt I could even recycle it. Is there anything to be done with it aside from going to the landfill?

Wait until you amass a couple tons. Then it'll be worth taking it to the scrap yard. :D Seriously, throw it away. In an electric furnace, it would vaporize.

The smoke is your shell casings.

Put it in with your recycling.:) They’ll figure it out.

When the guy throws it in the trash truck, the bag will break open, they'll all spill out, he'll think they're some sort of explosive, call 911, a SWAT team with robots and guys dressed in bombproof suits will show up, The Feds will knock on your door, Action News will hear about it on their police scanner, you'll get your fifteen minutes of fame on the nightly news and be branded as the neighborhood psycho. Probably better to just throw it on the burn pile or bury it in the back yard.

Well, there is that....

This really isn't a good idea in general. When non-recyclable stuff gets put into recycling, they tend to just toss the whole lot into the landfill.

Not saying the cases aren't recyclable in general, but being polymer-coated gives me a lot of doubts about it.

after about a year thousands of them disappear into the ground. its not me leaving them I assure you. I don't think ive ever shot a steel case in my life.

I was forced to buy a box of Tulamo some years back when you couldn't find anything to shoot. Still have half the box.
Over riding fail to fire junk!

If you get some jet fuel or kerosene you can melt steel. So I hear

I don't know. Can you melt your charcoal grill by burning charcoal lighter fluid in it? Jet fuel, kerosene and charcoal lighter all produce about the same amount of heat with an open flame.
