What to do with leftover tulammo cases?

Not good to pollute where you shoot. If people don't clean up their mess, the place quickly becomes unusable.

After steel cases get rained on while laying on the ground, they start to rust. Over a period of time, they will rust away and leach into the dirt. Rust is iron oxide. Plants need iron. Just consider the shell cases as a slow release fertilizer.

There was a shooter at the range that used one of these to pick up the steel cases. He kept the area fairly clean.

As long as you are not in a dry climate and on a home or private range just let them lay, 2 years max around me before they fully return to the earth.

Jeez - they're only mild steel. I'm sure you could get some dies heat treated to around 100 Rockwell and reload.

You would need to get the missus to peel all the polymer off first though.

How about spent primers? Really starting to pile up.

Put them in with your scrap brass, they're made from the same brass as cartridge cases.

I used to drop a few wiped down shell cases in front of the bars in town. I always figures someone would have a fit, but I never heard about it.

Yep, primers, crushed cases, worn out cases, trimmings from converting 300 black out got me over $200 last trip to the scrapper.
