What to build for wife

Hey guys I'm looking for thoughts and advise based off experience for a clambering geared towards deer for my wife. I'm just about ready to start compiling components yet I don't even have my starting point. I'm considering the 260 rem or 6.5creedmoor. I have my no experience with either cartridge. I am a avid handloader so once components are purchased ammo won't be an issue. I'm leaning toward the creed because brass seems to be everywhere right now. I cant see recoil mattering much between the 2, or am I wrong? I'm also thinking about a 8twist.

What calibers has she shot in the past ? Just wondering how recoil tolerant she is . Guessing bolt gun ?

She handles my 243 well as well as my 257 Roberts. She has her own 22-250 that she don't mind either. I'm gona let her hunt deer this year with the Roberts but by 2020 I'd really like to have her her own rifle. I know the Roberts is a great option for her but selfishly I kinda want to play with something new too.

If she is fine with the Roberts recoil you are golden for a deer rifle ...just pick out what you want and when you refer to the gun call it "Our gun "...like you both had a say in it. Win/Win:)

I think I definently want this project more than she does. We've been spending as lot time together with our daughter hunting and shooting the last while so I cant help but feel the more my wife enjoys herself the more she will help project posotive feelings towards our daughter about shooting and hunting nd the more she will want to stay with it. I do notice my wife enjoys herself more with her 22-250 and in believe it's because the rifle fits her build better.

6 BR. I went through this last year and, with the help of many on this forum, the best answer was revealed!

Built one for my wife and one for my 15 year old daughter. As a side benefit, my daughter has left my 6 Dasher alone!

243 drops deer like an anvil fell on them, easy. Bullet weight is the deal on recoil.

105g Hornady bTHP with either H4350 or R#26 will be awesome on deer. No flies on 80g Barmes ttsx from any angle.

100g partitions also kill from any angle.

Federal makes some pretty good ammo for the 100g partition, and Hornady factory ammo with their 100g is hard to beat.
