What stock is this?

Hello all I’m looking for some information on a stock I picked up.... the gentlemen said it was an older McMillan benchrest for single shot 700 that some one glass bedded a follower in to use with a repeater action? The paint is good with only a couple small blemishes .... Any info / value would be appreciated.

Side note the pictures make it look sort of blue ish ... but it’s actually green metallic

Thanks... I got it and decided I want to go in a different direction... was hoping I could either sell it or trade it for the same amount as a b&c.. so there are close to same value...

Sorry took so long to get back.. Christmas party :confused:... the forearm is apx 3 inches wide and flat the whole length ... and it is very light... I can weigh it when I get home..

Your stock was probably used by someone on a Hunter Class BR rifle. The reason the follower is epoxied in is that in order to meet the requirements for Hunter Class the rifle had to be able to feed a round of ammo. Most competitors simply placed a piece of foam under the magazine cut out that would "lift" a cartridge into the chamber. They never worked, and nobody ever checked to see if they worked at the matches. I've put a bunch of those stocks on Prairie Dog rifles, they work well for that application too.
