what size bullet is this?

found a nice looking round in my bullet box the other day and not sure what it is? the base brass is about the size of a 308 and also is the overall length. looks like a boat tail round. the base has the markings of a star, 3, 52, and 10 stamped around the primer

I will shortly post a picture of a bullet that I can't figure out. I thought it was a 30 cal. It weighs 154.4 gr and is has cannelure. The wild thing is that it is not 308. It is about .288. Awhile back I bought some mixed 30 cal bullets. one bag had these in a separate package. It was from Remington (maybe DuPont), I can't put my hands on the package now . Co. paperwork said experimental 30 cal bullet. Original printing, form had address, correct to the 50s or 60s. I started messing with it today and decided to measure it. Open lead base. Shy of .308. I think this is the correct info I have on this bullet.
