I’m about to start loading 6mm CM (oops, sorry I meant 6mm Creedmoor) using primarily Berger 105 and 107 gr bullets, and maybe some 110 gr SMKs, and using Peterson SRP brass. If you shoot similar loads, I would appreciate hearing what primers you are using.

And have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Here is a good informative post about the comp match. Theres quite a few here that shoot them in various disciplines. Its one of the chamberings i like as well as anything in the larger mid size 6mm.

Thanks Dusty. I should clarify I meant 6mm Creedmoor - I forgot there are two different 6 CMs and I believe someone told me before that 6mm Cm is the common name for the Creedmoor on this forum so I apologize for the confusion. The thread you pointed me to looks like a lot of good info. Thank you.

Every primer is used out there by someone with some level of success. My "grain of salt" success has been with BR4's YMMV.....;)

Rick

Primers can have a significant effect on performance and accuracy.
There are a multitude of SRP available to start intial load development, BR-4 are always a good place to start as they burn clean and are hard to pierce IME but side by side testing will tell which one your rifle likes the best.
Here's a few I've tested
Winchester
Federal
Remington 2
CCI 3
Addendum-if you change powder expect to test primers again
