H4350 is right next to RL 16 on the burn rate chart

There's plenty of choice. H4350 is the obvious one, but Staball 6.5 is right there if you want to stick with a ball powder. IMR 4350 is also close in burn rate . Another good choice is H4831 - you will need a little more - try 41.5g but a very accurate load can result.

^^^^ Right here might be the answer. Reloder 15.5 was made for the creedmoor. You just cant get enough reloder 16 in the creedmoor case to get pressure up near max. This is also why it seems to cause a carbon ring issue. Reloder 15.5 was created to correct this. With this said, H-4350 seems to be the go to powder in the 6.5 creedmoor. Another powder that might be a good fit for the creedmoor is N-555, which was developed for the creedmoor

H4350 is REALLY close to RL16 (almost grain for grain, but work up carefully)
I went with RL16 cause you can get the same or slightly more speed
without pressuring out sooner when using H4350.
Both really good powders for the 6 creed.
You can find H4350 everywhere.
RL16 has gotten really expensive and harder to find.

H4350 is what I would go to. I always test both when working up loads and use the same data as H4350. I pick which ever one shoots best. 16 Generally wins out on the speed by just a little bit. Reloader 17 has also given good results for me but is a bit sensitive to temp. You will get great velocity with it though.
I've had really good results in my two 6mmCM's with RL17. I have had excellent accuracy using N555 but tend to get some hang fires using small rifle primers, (CCI450s). N555 and LRP's work even better and really low SD's. Of course both H4350 & IMR4350 perform well also. 107-108 class bullets.
It shows it can get the same max speed as RL 16 in my Hornady manual.
