Had to lay this aside for a few days but got the rest of the machine work done except screw holes. I will mill it straight through the barrel channel with the wide end getting T slot and slide in flush with the front of the forend. With the top of the mount sitting flush with the top of the barrel channel the bipod should wrap around the bottom half of the barrel nicely.
