What kind of 10 shot groups are you getting at 600 yards ?

Here's another that I shot with my new barrel during load development right before Fclass Nationals this year. 308, 200hybrid, 15 shots comparing two different seating depths at 600 yds. Likely the smallest group >10 I've ever shot. 3in xring for the nonFer.View attachment 1076173

I don’t have targets or pictures but I did my personal best at our Wisconsin midrange state championships on day one of a 2 day event. Fclass Target. 4 strings of 20 for record. 200-18x, 200-17x, 200-17x and a 200-15x total 800-67x. Had such a good feeling I decided to over consume some alcoholic beverages that I didn’t even place after my crap shoot on Sunday. Lol I’d say if you are shooting 2” 10 shot groups that is fine shooting at 600 yards. I’m not a BR guy though. I’m just an Fer

Would be curious if I could have improved the vert using a rest rather than the bipod. I'm guessing the horizontal would have been better as I could have gotten them away much faster and seen fewer wind switches. Note: I held same spot during this group so wind was quite steady for ND standards.

Larry, you shot a 1.027 10 shot group at 600?

The current IBS 600 yd record is 0.282. Set by Bart Sauder last spring at Memphis.

My small is 1.027 the next was 1.33 then 2.5 To shoot small the load must be good enough to do it. Then have conditions where it can be repeated.

Thanks! Sadly, those 15 shots were only shots 46-60 on the barrel with virgin Lapua, but it shoots so well I can't stop myself from using it. It now has 700 rounds on it from a MR Regional (Silver), LR Regional (Gold), MR State Championship (1st), 2018 LR FClass Nationals, Individual and Team, plus US FTR Team tryouts....all that over 6 weeks.

But I see a trip to NE in its future....hehe
