What is your go to .22 LR round?

SK Jagd Standard Plus (or its Wolf equivalent). Works well, is consistent, no ftf's, burns as clean as any other (and cleaner than some), more than accurate enough for silhouette shooting (at least for me at the AAA level). Also like CCI SV or Federal 711b for general plinking. All three cycle in a semi-auto pistol and my Ruger 10/22 without problems

YUP,.. For the Money, the SK Std Plus, look like, a real Bargain,.. Got them, and some SK Long Range, to test, when the weather gets, descent !
I have no need of anything better as, I have a 22" SS, Fact. Barrel ( NOT, a Match Gun ) Shoots, some Ammo types from, a 5/8 th" to 1 1/4 inch groups at 50 yds,.. AKA minute of, Squirrel. Just trying to see what, the Rifle is "capable of " for,.. chits and giggles !

No such thing anymore...

Wolf is rebranded eley now. ... which is a shame, because back when it was SK, they had some lot numbers from time to time that really shot well. I have about 6 bricks of one left that will shoot in the .2's at 50yds.

I think, the Lapua / Nammo Group, makes the New SK stuff that, I just bought.

Just to clarify; yes, lapua/sk are pretty much same same. SK being the "budget" brand.

Wolf once upon a time was SK, reboxed. Now, wolf is eley. Not sure what grade... but at the price point I can't imagine it being awesome. SK produced wolf was always pretty good stuff.

TRUE, but,.. I didn't buy Wolf,.. I bought SK and it says,.. Nammo Schonebeck Gmbh,.. MADE in Germany and the back end of, the Rim HAS, the Lapua "Markings".
I think Wolf is made by Eley,.. in England. YUP a "Budget Brand" but good enough to, Play with, and test, my Ruger 10/22. I also have, SK long Range to test, too. Hey IF, I NEEDED to shoot Tiny Groups, I have, a .22-250 Rem and a .243 Win Tikka BOTH shoot, SUB 1/2 MOA and I CONTROL,.. the "Fodder" ! This Ruger, is my Fun Plinker and SageRat Rifle for,.. under 75 Yards, as it only has, a 2x7 scope on it.
