CCI Mini Mags, 36 grain HP's shot good and consistent for, me, in my 10/ 22, W/ 22" SS bbl. and Chrono'd approx 1,250 to 1,255 FPS (very close to stated velocity) And,.. sure made, the Sage Rats, "Fly" !
Fed Auto Match ( adv Vel. 1,200 FPS ) shot great also, but not as, violent on, the Rats and was, QUIET ! Fed "Bulk" copper 36 Hp's was NOT quite as good as, the Auto M., group, wise.
I have 3 - 4 more Brands to try, next week,.. each 22 Rifle likes, different ammo, tho. You need to test them for yourself. CCI mm's were, Highly rated among the reviews that, I've read, as are Std Vel. CCI and Auto match. I will be trying, SK LR match ammo, SK Standard Plus and Win 36 Gr HP's, next time.
For my Rifle, it looks like, the closer to 1,200 FPS,.. the better. I end up, sighting in the CCI MM's at 50 yards, 1 inch high and the Auto Match, was, "Zeroed" !
The Rats, were in serious "trouble" with, both Loads ( Rifle forend, rested in Hunters Specialties, Shooting Sticks, supporting the "Toe" of Rifle, on my shoulder over, a small Day Pack, in sitting position ! ( very steady ! ). Good luck and have, Fun,.. "testing" ! Use a good, solid, Bench Rest and V shaped, Toe Bag !

Common, ordinary CCI Blazers. up to 5-6 in 1/2 inch hole at 50 yds. Custom Douglas C-M barrel fitted to Ruger M77/22. Good cheap ammo.

Also the rifle has a Bentz type chamber.

I have done really well (and consistent) with CCI standard. My rifle also like Lapua Center-X real well but my budget don't. Aguila "match rifle" shoots as well as the Center-X stuff and its cheaper but for some reason it's difficult to find?

I've had pretty good luck/success with the Norma White box, think it's called Match. The Norma black box stuff is pretty consistent for plinking, and letting the grandson do mag dumps with the 10/22.

Yes, very good, in two of my bolt rifles, nothing came close in the price range. I did not test everything but out of half a dozen contenders it was the clear winner. I did find better but it was 2x's the price. Wolf is head stamped same as Lapua.
